“We are very pleased to welcome Les Fagen, MA, JD, to our Board,” affirmed Harley Goldberg, DO, new Chair of the Board of Directors. “As the Foundation develops further, we need committed, experienced professionals like Les to guide the organization through the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.”

Les, who has effectively provided strategic counsel to organizations for more than three decades as a business advisor and attorney, represents healthcare companies and ambitious entrepreneurs as they turn their vision into vibrant companies.

A partner in the Boston office of Cooley, LLP, for which he was founder and head of the Business Group, he is a legal expert and has worked with numerous start-up entities, especially in the field of technology. Les has been recognized as a leading attorney by various industry groups. He has served on many nonprofit boards, advised several not-for-profit organizations, and engaged in a number of global initiatives revolving around organizational development and peacemaking.

“I see great potential for IFS in the business arena and conflict resolution space,” said Les. “It is not difficult to imagine how IFS can help optimize organizational performance and enhance the ability of various parties in business or beyond to negotiate effective agreements.”

Les will serve a renewable two-year term on the Board. Terms on the Board have been staggered with the intent to assign, when the Board has a full complement, three-year terms to all members.
